October 24 - Peace, Be Still!

Stormy weather threatens to hamper your plans, but you can speak to that storm and it will retreat. (This is in the natural, but also a metaphor for a life situation.)
Mark 4:39 - Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.

October 23 - Nothing Like a Friend

A friendly chat over coffee will yield much today. A new idea? Perhaps a deeper friendship? Maybe just time out to experience joy with a friend.

October 22 - Slay That Giant

In a painting or photo, depth of field can make it look as if closer subjects are, in reality, bigger than background subjects. For example a tree in the foreground towers over a mountain in the background. Our minds know this is not true. They know how to look at it. There is a situation in your life that needs this perspective. Something looks much bigger than it really is. Today, you will have a better perspective.

October 21 - Spread the Love

Just as someone needs to have some extra love right now, you feel a need to give it. Find that someone and bless them with who you are.

Romans 12:10 - Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another...
