October 30 - Supernatural Peace

There is nothing like having peace. Peace is the sign you have made the right decision. Peace turns chaos into something that can be managed. Peace can rule over relationships causing union instead of division. Peace opens up space for negotiation. Peace drives a powerful vehicle that can take us places nothing or no one else is able to. Today, receive that peace. It is there if you ask for it.
John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

October 26 - Sincere Humility

When in the course of human events it becomes necessary to say “I’m sorry. I am better than that. I will do better”… then say it!!!!!

James 4:10 - Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

October 18 - Words of Life

Some tell others the world is going to hell in a hand basket and they speak from depression, hopelessness, and weakness. Others declare good things about the world and they speak from a spirit of hope, anticipation of good, and power. Our perception and our words make a difference. I want to be one that speaks life-giving words of good. Today, your thoughts and words will make a difference.

Proverbs 15:4 - The soothing tongue is a tree of life, but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit.

October 17 - Out of the Mouths of Babes

God is speaking to you today through a child in your life. Listen.

Isaiah 11:6 - And a little child will lead them.

October 16 - Stand Strong

When you stand strong for what you believe as truth, you will give someone else something strong to lean on. There are people around you who are looking to you for hope.

1 Corinthians 16:13 - Keep your eyes open, hold tight to your convictions, give it all you’ve got, be resolute, and love without stopping. (The Message)

October 15 - Child of the Most High

In the dark of night when you cant sleep and worries begin to take over, think instead about how much you are loved by your Papa God.

Jeremiah 31:3 - "I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you."

1 John 3:1 - See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!

October 14 - You Matter!

You sometimes tell friends that your needs, pains, and dreams are so minor compared to others in this world. You feel you don’t deserve your prayers to be answered when there are so many that are suffering and need more than you. Do you know that what matters to you matters to God? Don’t you realize how big He is? Pray those prayers – even the small, seemingly petty ones – over you and your family. Your Father in Heaven loves you and longs for relationship with you. His great desire is to bless his children with good things.

Isaiah 49:16 - See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands...

October 13 - Goodness Gracious!

Our praises to God lift Him high. He is worthy. Today your praise is heard and when He is lifted, so are you. Try it. You’ll like it! Watch for goodness coming to you today from an unusual source.

Psalm 150:5 - Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

October 12 - Words of Gold

Did you know the words we speak with our mouths are every bit as much a provider of resources for us as the work of our hands? So...let us speak hope, truth, encouragement, and blessing and see what returns to us this week. Let our words glisten with encouragement and compassion.

Proverbs 12:14 - From the fruit of their lips people are filled with good things, and the work of their hands brings them reward.

October 12 - Divine Health

Just as there is divine order in nature, there is divine order in your body. Your body is meant to be perfect on Earth as it is in Heaven. We can declare that order over ourselves and others. Some call it divine alignment. I pray this for my readers today, that you will experience healing and order in your physical body in Jesus' Name!

John 3:1-2 - Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.

October 11 - Fly Higher!

This past week in Denver, Colorado, we have experienced  a phenomenon. A migration of Painted Lady butterflies descended on our fall gardens throughout the region. I can't help but wonder if this is a sign. If it is, it is calling us all to step into new beginnings and life - and - just as a butterfly leaves its cocoon - we are to complete our transition into a new level of our destiny. So, quite simply, I urge you to fly higher, think higher, recognize your own value, and take the risk before you. We were never meant to stay put forever.

2 Corinthians 5:17 - So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation; everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!

October 11 - Watch For Bright Joy!

The little Dahlias in my garden are so funny – like happy, charming little clowns that vie to be noticed. God is bringing something into your life that is like that – wanting your attention. Don’t miss it. Watch for the bright joy and humor and you will find it.

2 Peter 1:19 - And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

October 10 - Angels Standing Guard

Do you see what looks like an  angel?
Do you know there are angels protecting you, your children, your friends? God’s angelic armed forces do exist and He even gives us authority to dispatch angels into situations. Today, your angel stands guard over the things that concern you.

Hebrews 1:14 - Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

October 9 - Tears of Joy Coming Soon!

Tears of worry or sadness will turn to tears of joy soon. Don’t give up hope!

Proverbs 13:12 -When hope's dream seems to drag on and on, the delay can be depressing. But when at last your dream comes true, life's sweetness will satisfy your soul. (The Passion Translation)

October 9 - Your Life Dreams

I'm doing a bit of research for a class I'm teaching. Please help! Here are the questions - answer any or all. Thanks so much. This will make a difference for many people!

1 - Are you or are you close to living your dream?
2 - How did you discover your dream?
3 - What were your first steps - or how did you begin to walk out your dream?
4 - What dream are you working on now?

You can answer in the comments below, or email me at chris@christinetracy.com.
Answer whenever you read this, be it today or in the future!
Thank you for your help!

October 8 - Ultimate Trust

I have a few friends who trust God so completely that He is able to use them in dangerous places because they trust in His protection and purposes and dont fear for their lives. Hence they witness miracles of healing and faith as they go with God into dark places. Where would we be if we trusted that much? How far could God use us and bless us? Pondering this will answer some of the questions you have been praying about.

Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the Lord completely, and not your own opinions, but with all your heart rely on Him to guide you, and He will lead you in all the decisions you make. (The Passion Translation)

October 7 - Don't Give Up!

Who do you know that is living their dreams for work and for life? What are your dreams? How close are you to living them? God put those dreams in your heart and soul. Don’t give up on them!

Psalm 37:23 - The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way.

October 6 - Whose Kid is That?

Our Texas grandson threw his first touchdown pass last night! So after several proud back-and-forth text messages from our family about "whose kid is that?", I started to have some wild thoughts about what could be possible for our offspring. Taking the best qualities from previous generations, our grandkids should have traits like great work ethic, handsome, beautiful, kind, smart, creative, successful, good with money, super athletic, a heart for the country, a love for animals, an appreciation for beauty, with a destiny to be brilliant in everything they put their hands to. Yes - those are our kids! And yours!
Let's declare these wonderful things and more over our children and grandchildren today.

Matthew 18:10
Take care that you do not despise one of these little ones; for, I tell you, in heaven their angels continually see the face of my Father in heaven.

Psalm 127:3-5
Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.

October 6 - Lessons From Creation

There is a sound and fragrance coming from the earth today--like crunching leaves or the smell of rain. Your senses are heightened. You are so close to the beauty of creation and it will teach you something you haven’t thought of before.

Romans 1:20 - For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

Oct. 5 - A Grateful Heart

Some of my favorite things are still just things. But they open up the world to me and feed my passion for beauty, knowledge, news, and friendship. Those things include my camera, my MacBook Pro, books, skis, and my car. They are but mere replaceable tools to get me to what is real for me. And I am so thankful for them! Today, you will be more aware of what serves your passion for life – and you will be thankful!

Psalm 107:1 - Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.

Simply Living

I had one of these! Mine was
yellow. '57 T-Bird!!!
I am NOT a multi-tasker. I cannot excel at anything if I am doing 10 things at once. At least that's what I thought until...

Today I was thinking about how I just love to drive. Yet it is multi-tasking at its finest, isn't it? Muscle memory kicks in as we accelerate, brake, check the mirrors, watch for lights and signs, stay aware, listen to music, watch the speedometer, talk to a passenger,  shift, stay awake...etc.

My brain has long combined all this into one task called "driving," and I do awesome at that.

So, how can we do this with life? Can we combine all the parts - physical, emotional, spiritual, work, family, relationships, responsibilities, health, etc. into just one simple, enjoyable thing called "living?" Just plain, wonderful, "living?"

I just simplified your world. You're welcome!

"Our lives are frittered away by detail. Simplify! Simplify!" Henry David Thoreau

Better Vision

Just as my camera sometimes catches colors, images, and things in the background that I didnt know were there  so our minds and hearts are not always aware of everything that is happening around us. New things are being revealed today and in the weeks to come. Your vision will increase to see those things. So exciting for you!

James 1:5 - If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

October 3 - The Father's Love

Some days it is well with our soul to feel sadness; to grieve; and to silently listen and stand by those who need a shoulder and an ear or just someone to sit with them.

In these days, let us stand strong; reject fear; strengthen our own hearts with truth and prayer; and, in turn, do what we can to encourage others.

Love to all!

I am attaching this beautiful song by Brian and Jenn Johnson because from this day forward I want this to be my theme song. Help me to love...

Good is Coming!

In Colorado, almost overnight, the season changes from hot summer days to perfect fall daytime temperatures with very cool nights. I love this season. It makes me bake zucchini bread and apple pies to go with chilis, stews, and soups. Fall is here in full swing and there is an anticipation of the fun of winter. So how does that look in places we don’t see with our natural eyes? There is an anticipation of something great about to come. Knowing God’s nature as a good God – I may not know what is around the corner – but I know it is good. Be watching. You are in for a treat!

"Hope is the confident, joyful expectation good is coming. It is an overall optimistic attitude about the future based on the goodness and promises of God. ... A lack of hope means we are believing a lie. It is key for us to know we are being deceived in the area of life we have hopelessness. That recognition is the beginning of the journey to let go of lies and believe truth, so we will be free." - Steve and Wendy Backlund - www.ignitinghope.com.

Peace Today

Just as clouds sometimes cover hills, a cloud is covering your heart – not in sadness – but in quiet beauty – protecting your heart – giving it nourishment and peace.
Isaiah 26:3 - You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
