October 6 - Whose Kid is That?

Our Texas grandson threw his first touchdown pass last night! So after several proud back-and-forth text messages from our family about "whose kid is that?", I started to have some wild thoughts about what could be possible for our offspring. Taking the best qualities from previous generations, our grandkids should have traits like great work ethic, handsome, beautiful, kind, smart, creative, successful, good with money, super athletic, a heart for the country, a love for animals, an appreciation for beauty, with a destiny to be brilliant in everything they put their hands to. Yes - those are our kids! And yours!
Let's declare these wonderful things and more over our children and grandchildren today.

Matthew 18:10
Take care that you do not despise one of these little ones; for, I tell you, in heaven their angels continually see the face of my Father in heaven.

Psalm 127:3-5
Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.

July 12 - A Child Will Bless You

Tadpole heaven.

A child will bless your heart today in ways you cannot conceive or imagine. Watch for the deeper meaning in what she or he is doing and saying. Let them know how special they are.

Isaiah 11:6 - And a little child will lead them.

Psalm 127:3 - Don't you see that children are God's best gift?

February 4 - Listen To A Child's Words

Spend some time with a child today and listen for how God will talk to you through them.

Matthew 18:10 - "See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven."

Matthew 19:14 - Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
