August 24 - Our Hiding Place

Do you know you are hidden, safe, protected, and loved? God promises to shelter us. Remember you are never alone!

Psalm 91:4 - His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under His covering of majesty and hide. His faithfulness is a wrap-around shield keeping you from harm. (TPT)

Psalm 32:7 - You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.

August 22 - The Older the Violin...

The older the violin the sweeter the music. I was just given a beautiful old Baldwin piano that was built in 1948. I was amazed how pretty it sounded, though it had not been played for many years. The original craftsmanship and quality of materials helped it last over all this time. The Creator made us that way, too. We are perfect. And we are meant to get even better with age, wisdom, grace, patience, and love!

August 21 - Intentionally Happy

My little granddaughter Baylie was just born yesterday, wasn’t she? And now she just started Middle School. Time moves on so quickly. Make it happy for yourself and for those around you. Happiness can be an intentional thing. You are blessed to be a blessing!

I’ve been watching the squirrels in my yard and I think that, in addition to their chatter, they have a tail language too. Like squirrels, we say things with our voice, but we also communicate with the language of our life - how we deal with living. Today, you will see how you can encourage others when they watch how you do life.
