My
favorite memory of hunting with my husband is hiking into a spot before dawn,
then waiting, hunkered down in blankets with steaming mugs of coffee. The icy
dawn breaks, the sunrise colors the snow-covered hills, and we listen and
watch, then walk through the trees, looking for sign and tracks.
These
memories and experiences are blessings and gifts to our lives and stem from
true love. You will remember something special today, too. Write it down or
tell someone.
God gave us memories that we might have roses in December. - J.M. Barrie, Courage, 1922.
