December 30 - Go Ahead - Ask Him a Question!

You are learning to connect with God as your maker and loving papa. If you sit still for a while today, ask Him a question, He will answer you. Trust that this answer – if it is good – is from Him. He uses your thoughts to speak to you.

"I bless you with understanding how God talks to you and how He hears from you. May you discover how thankfulness works and experience what happens in your life when you remember and are grateful for what God is doing, happily expectant of future answers to your prayers. I pray you will have such experience with God that you can teach others that they, too, can hear Him through:

1.     Still, small voice—like a clear whisper in your ear or mind.

2.     Audible voice.

3.     Thoughts—creative ideas and directions you wouldn’t normally think of.

4.     Images—pictures and colors you imagine. These may mean something for you or someone else.

5.     Visions—in dreams or awake. God will show you what He wants you to know.

6.     The Bible—Powerful revelation from God’s living word.

7.     Signs—Coincidences, or repetitions that catch your attention.

8.     Dreams—Sleep time is when God has our undivided attention. Write them down!

9.     Words of Knowledge—Often these are impressions, body pains, or words of wisdom God is giving you to help someone else.

10.  There are many more ways God can speak to you. Ask Him to show you."
