Just as bandaids make your "owies" better, so the
promises of God can take a negative feeling about ourselves and turn it around to remembering who we are and who we belong to. We are not what our past says we are. We are who God says we
are. You are an adopted child of a good Father; brother and sister of His son, Jesus; heir of the abundance of Heaven; with a destiny to advance the Kingdom of God on Earth through His Holy Spirit. He calls you "friend." (ct)
