January 30 - Do Not Give Up!

There are a lot of voices speaking and prophesying over 2016. You can choose to doom and gloom; or you can choose to rise and shine. I choose the latter. Will you? Your positive spirit has power to change a life, an atmosphere, and a world. Be empowered. Make a difference. Do not give up!

“I have for many years endeavored to make this vital truth clear; and still people marvel when I tell them that I am happy. They imagine that my limitations weigh heavily upon my spirit, and chain me to the rock of despair. Yet, it seems to me, happiness has very little to do with the senses. If we make up our minds that this is a drab and purposeless universe, it will be that, and nothing else. On the other hand, if we believe that the earth is ours, and that the sun and moon hang in the sky for our delight, there will be joy upon the hills and gladness in the fields because the Artist in our souls glorifies creation. Surely, it gives dignity to life to believe that we are born into this world for noble ends, and that we have a higher destiny than can be accomplished within the narrow limits of this physical life.” ~ Helen Keller

And a little musical hope for you from Kristene DiMarco!

October 1 - No More Foxes!

Today a squirrel chewed down three of my huge sunflowers. So I made a centerpiece with the flowers, and fed the squirrel something better in the backyard feeder in hopes he wouldn’t destroy any more. It reminded me of Song of Songs 2:15 and the little foxes that steal the vines and ruin the harvest. What little foxes are trying to steal your joy, your peace, your dreams? That ends today! Usher the critters out of your life and joyfully continue on toward your victory!

September 10 - Make That Decision!

There is an expression that haste makes waste. But stalling and riding the fence on a decision can cause anxiety, wasted time, and missed opportunity. God is calling you to make a decision on a thing that can only succeed with His help and blessing. Jump in with both feet!

"The dogs of doom stand and bark at the doors of your destiny." - Kris Vallotton

Proverbs 16:9 - In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.

Proverbs 3:5 - Trust in the Lord completely, and not your own opinions, But with all your heart rely on Him to guide you. And He will lead you in all the decisions you make. (TPT)
