February 11 - Fragrance of Heaven

Pinks, oranges, roses, yellows, purples – they are all inherent in the sunrises and sunsets I love to photograph. They are also the colors in my rose garden. The colorful blooms fill me with hope and their fragrance stirs memories of rose gardens past. May your day be filled with joyful fragrance and good memories to propel you and give you strength for today’s challenges, and tomorrow’s wonderful promises!

February 2 - Life And Goodness To Our Children

My grandson, Trey, has a birthday today. Oh how I miss the sweet 2 year old who would play with me in the snow…and how I wonder at the now 10-year-old athlete and the future man he will become. I declare goodness and destiny over him and all of my grandchildren today. I know you do, too, for the children in your life!

February 1 - Beauty And Life

Some great art at our
neighborhood school!
What if the most popular creative art in our cities and streets, instead of reflecting death, destruction, and sad graffiti – rather reflected movement, hope, love, and colorful amazement?

I must look at the beauty in life and art to give life to my own spirit and soul.

January 26 - Emerge and Fly!

Just like a chrysalis is shed to reveal a butterfly - you are shedding something that has protected and sheltered you to reveal something beautiful. You are ready. You are about to fly and embrace your life's purpose and destiny.

Philippians 3:13-14 - Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

January 22 - Your Life Is Poetry

The earth sings, her bounty blesses, her destiny is a poem of victory. Listen for the music of your life today and let it be a poem that encourages others.

“You mean you're comparing our lives to a sonnet? A strict form, but freedom within it? Yes. Mrs. Whatsit said. You're given the form, but you have to write the sonnet yourself. What you say is completely up to you.”

January 6 - Take The Key!

About 12 million immigrants
passed through The Great
Hall at Ellis Island, NY
between 1892 and 1954.
This beautiful terminal served the
immigrants as the gateway to their hopes
and dreams of a new life in America.
