A God Who Delights in Us!

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4

I feel like God, being our perfect Papa in Heaven, is saying that when we delight in Him, He delights in us. So what brings Him delight? Just as any good father, he looks with pride on His kids, His Creation, when we follow the dreams He has placed in us; when we are thankful and full of joy for the blessings we have - not worried about what has not happened yet; and when we are faithful, trusting Him in everything. I bless you (and me) to enter into this realm of the heart and spirit where we can live always under the Father's delight, joyfully receiving all He has for us - every desire of our heart!

He Makes All Things New Again

"I’ll restore everything that was lost in this land. I’ll make everything as good as new. I, God, say so." Jeremiah 33:11

When I saw this beautiful Iris blooming in a quaint Denver neighborhood, I considered its name, "Iris".... and God nudged me to look up His promises about "I restore." (Iris-tore.) His Word talks about repairing walls and repairing people and circumstances; bringing healing; building up His kids. This is a promise for us today. He is restoring what was lost; bringing back to us what was stolen...relationships, health, time, opportunity. Receive this promise and watch what happens!

A Good Land

For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills...

Deuteronomy 8:7

I feel that this is a promise for us today. Watch the horizon. New refreshing, expanded territory, and exciting opportunity are coming our way!

A short walk from my home, I just happened to glance to the side and saw this beautiful visitor to our lake. It's amazing the things we can see when we look for treasure!

Feb. 22 - Your Prayers...

When you pray for someone, that someone feels the love of God whether you can see something happening or not. Your prayers are powerful to bring all kinds of healing Thank you for bringing such love to our world!

Dear Lord, Bless my reader friends - your Sons and Daughters - and prosper them that they might in turn bless others. May their hands bring life, love, hope, healing, and freedom. May pain go, relationships be restored, and lives changed and be made whole. Amen.

February 16 - It's in the Air!

Can you smell it? Can you sense it? There is a hint; a small, quiet, happy hint of Spring in the air. Come alive – it says. Come alive

God, the Master, told the dry bones, “Watch this: I’m bringing the breath of life to you and you’ll come to life. I’ll attach sinews to you, put meat on your bones, cover you with skin, and breathe life into you. You’ll come alive and you’ll realize that I am God!” (Ezekiel 37:5-6) The Message)

February 11 - Fragrance of Heaven

Pinks, oranges, roses, yellows, purples – they are all inherent in the sunrises and sunsets I love to photograph. They are also the colors in my rose garden. The colorful blooms fill me with hope and their fragrance stirs memories of rose gardens past. May your day be filled with joyful fragrance and good memories to propel you and give you strength for today’s challenges, and tomorrow’s wonderful promises!

February 2 - Life And Goodness To Our Children

My grandson, Trey, has a birthday today. Oh how I miss the sweet 2 year old who would play with me in the snow…and how I wonder at the now 10-year-old athlete and the future man he will become. I declare goodness and destiny over him and all of my grandchildren today. I know you do, too, for the children in your life!
