Today
a squirrel chewed down three of my huge sunflowers. So I made a centerpiece with the flowers, and fed the
squirrel something better in the backyard feeder in hopes he wouldn’t destroy
any more. It reminded me of Song of Songs 2:15 and the little foxes that steal the vines and ruin the harvest. What little foxes are trying to steal
your joy, your peace, your dreams? That ends today! Usher the critters out of your life and joyfully continue on toward your victory!
Unbelief is safe, because it takes no risk and almost always gets what it expects. Bill Johnson

September 30 - Pay Attention to the "Creaks"
The
creaky floors in our old house are sure signs when someone is moving around. Just like those “creaks,” there are signs in your life that alert you to coming events; or reveal God’s heart about something you are concerned about.
They can be coincidences, or a message from a friend. They can be a sentence
that jumps from your Bible, or a thought that passes through your imagination. Watch for signs as you move forward in life. We are not alone on this journey!
Psalm 8:3-5 - When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor.

September 29 - New Day, New Joy!
It’s funny that God would create such cute
creatures as raccoons. You almost want to invite them to raid your garbage just
so you can enjoy their antics. Did you know a third of the Kingdom is joy? Step aside from being so serious and enjoy the humor in this world!
Romans 14:17 - For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Proverbs 17:22 - A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

September 28 - Integrity Opens Doors
Grandson Cole took this shot from our front porch! #supermooneclipse |
It is good to admit your mistakes; to take ownership;
to be
vulnerable. There is much strength in honesty and forthrightness. It opens up
opportunity. Your character and integrity are drawing some divine appointments even now.
Proverbs 3:3 - Let your life be shaped by integrity, with truth written upon your heart.
