November 3 - It's All About His Goodness

Some think that God our Father is angry with us and is a condemning, punishing God. But here is the truth. He is not angry with you. He is your biggest cheerleader. And though you mess up at times, he is there to pick you up and draw you back to His loving arms. Like a good dad corrects the child he loves, God's discipline is firm, yet kind. His love and goodness are what lead us to repentance.

Romans 2:4 - Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and long-suffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?
