October 30 - Supernatural Peace

There is nothing like having peace. Peace is the sign you have made the right decision. Peace turns chaos into something that can be managed. Peace can rule over relationships causing union instead of division. Peace opens up space for negotiation. Peace drives a powerful vehicle that can take us places nothing or no one else is able to. Today, receive that peace. It is there if you ask for it.

John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

October 29 - Is it Time for a New Dream?

Have you been putting a Band-aid on something that is requiring major surgery? Is it time to take a new direction? To make a change? Is it time to let go of an old dream and make room for a new dream?

Ephesians 2:10 - For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

October 28 - The Commodity of Joy

Joy. It is the commodity we all are reaching for, isn’t it? The things we think we want – houses, cars, dream jobs, trips – are really just a means to get what our hearts are really after – happiness. There is a new train to happiness chugging in to pick you up. It’s OK to hop aboard.

Ephesians 3:20 - Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

Psalm 35:27 - Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; and let them say continually "Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant."

October 27 - It Starts Today!

Like kryptonite to Superman, there are things in life that drain our energy, upset our focus, and make us feel less than. God’s heart is to build you, encourage you, help you, comfort you, bring you joy, give you freedom, and give you a purpose and calling that you will love. Which are you going to give your attention to? Of course - you are going to choose a better way! It starts today. Have fun!

October 21 - Joy No Matter What

Do you want to have joy even in the hard times? Did you know that joy isn't restricted to just when things are going well? It is an attitude of trust in the One who is able to take you through the storms and who is able to break down the walls that hold you back from the great destiny He has planned for you.

Psalm 1:1 - The ones who follow God will have everlasting joy.

October 26 - Sincere Humbleness...

When in the course of human events it becomes necessary to say “I’m sorry. I am better than that. I will do better”… then say it!!!!!

James 4:10 - Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

October 22 - Activate Your Dreams!

Many of the rich and famous are people like you and me that started out with humble dreams and a heart that went after them. What dream will you activate today?

October 20 - The Best Consultant

Decisions are ahead and remember you are not alone. You partner with a Father God who will give you wisdom if you ask for it; direct your steps; and has already prepared a way.

Proverbs 16:9 - A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.

October 19 - Choose Happy!

What do you do when you are extremely fatigued? When a cold is coming on; when stress has corralled you; when you haven’t slept deeply in days; when you just don’t feel up to snuff…do this! Be thankful for what you do have – your life, your health, your good days, your blessings in life. Lift yourself out of the down times with good, happy music. Surround yourself with good, happy people. We are designed to be sensitive to both negative and positive influences, and we are given a choice. Choose happy!

October 18 - The Real Church

Some churches are lively. Others seem a bit strange to what we're used to. Others are full of life and family love. Others are quite sleepy. Still others could use a booster shot - they seem to have lost their way. But church is more than just a Sunday morning experience. The Church is actually the children of God, following His Son - Jesus. The Church is called by God the "Bride of Christ." She is supposed to be about the business of making herself ready for the groom - Christ - who will return a second time. Is the bride ready? Is she open to the things God is releasing on Earth? You are an important part of that preparation. Ask God today what it is you are being called to. He's ready to answer you. He is already directing you.

Colossians 3:15 - Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.

Ephesians 5:25 - Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.

Isaiah 54:5 - For your Maker is your husband - the Lord Almighty is his name - the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth.

October 17 - Words of Life

Some tell others the world is going to hell in a hand basket and they speak from depression, hopelessness, and weakness. Others declare good things about the world and they speak from a spirit of hope, anticipation of good, and power. Our perception and our words make a difference. I want to be one that speaks life-giving words of good. Today, your thoughts and words will make a difference.

Proverbs 15:4 - The soothing tongue is a tree of life, but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit.
